Project : Biofortifying Sorghum with High Grain Iron and Zinc Content for Combating Micronutrient Malnutrition

Essential qualification : Essential: Doctorate (Ph.D) in Plant Breeding & Genetics / Genetics / Agrl. Botany / Botany

Desirable: Research experience with sorghum crop, experience in handling field experiments, emasculation and crossing techniques, field evaluation including design and layout, and biochemical grain quality analysis. Well versed with computer applications and statistics packages.

Salary : Rs. 22000 + 30% HRA

Duration : Till February, 2015

• Certifications in the relevant area like CISA, CCNA, OCP etc will be desirable.
• Minimum Educational qualification will be B.Tech. in Computer Science / Information Technology / Electronics & Telecommunication or MCA with min. 60% marks.
• These faculties may be placed in G4 (Equivalent to scale II / III of PSU banks) or G3 grade (Equivalent to scale IV / V of PSU banks) of PNBIIT depending on their expertise & experience. Other service conditions will be as per PNBIIT rules.
